Same desert as Coachella. Completely different religion. This weekend, Indio trades glitter goblins for belt buckles, beer showers, and people who say "y'all" with their whole chest.

Stagecoach 2026 hits the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California from Friday, April 24 through Sunday, April 26. The headliners are Cody Johnson on Friday, Lainey Wilson on Saturday, and Post Malone on Sunday. You already know the headliners. The smart move is building your day around the names that are about to get a lot bigger. Friday has Ella Langley at 6:20 PM on the Mane Stage, Bailey Zimmerman at 7:50 PM, and Sam Barber at 7:20 PM on Palomino. Saturday has Riley Green before Lainey, plus Gavin Adcock on Palomino and the "Don't Stop Believin'" guys ripping the Mustang Stage at 8:30 PM if you want your country weekend seasoned with arena-rock dad chaos. Brand activations are everywhere, but some are actually useful: T-Mobile has complimentary lawn chairs at Club Magenta for members, Boot Barn is giving out chilled water and treats, and there are cooling-style spots scattered through the grounds and in the app maps. If you’re camping, the Resort opens Thursday at 9 AM and runs through Monday at 10 AM. Vehicle check-in hours are Thursday 9 AM to Friday 2 AM, Friday 9 AM to 8 PM, Saturday 9 AM to 8 PM, and Sunday 9 AM to 3 PM. Pedestrian check-in stays open 24/7 during Resort hours. Translation: do not roll up whenever your group chat feels spiritually ready. Also, no vehicle ins and outs, and if you leave your site, it's gone. Campers get free bathrooms and showers, with some showers running 24 hours starting Friday morning. There’s a general store on site with the kind of emergency goods people always forget, like sunscreen, batteries, condoms, aloe, water, and regret management supplies. Portable generators are banned unless they’re factory-installed in an RV, and open flames are a hard no. Propane tabletop cooking only. This is a festival, not frontier arson.

Desert Sun reported this week's forecast is actually a little kinder than usual, with highs expected in the upper 80s Friday and lower 80s Saturday and Sunday. That is still hot enough to make your decisions worse by noon. Wear breathable clothes. Bring a hat you won't cry over. Choose boots you have already broken in, unless blisters are part of your personal brand. Bring sunglasses, sunscreen, lip balm, and a layer for the temperature drop after dark.
