Ibiza 2026 Just Dropped Its Full Hand: Skepta's Residency, Swedish House Mafia's Return, and Why This Season Hits Different

The Ibiza 2026 season hasn't even started and it's already out of pocket.

Opening parties land April 25–26 — that's three weeks from right now — and the lineup announcements have been hitting like machine gun drops since February. Every major venue went all-in. New clubs. Genre-defying residencies. Calvin Harris showing up twice a week like he's got a mortgage on Ushuaïa.

This isn't your standard "same DJs, different year" rotation. This season genuinely hits different. Let us walk you through why. 😎

Skepta's Hï Ibiza Residency: The Pivot Nobody Expected (and Everybody Needed)

Let's start with the headline that broke the internet's cooler corners.

Skepta — yes, that Skepta, the grime godfather, the "Shutdown" architect, the man who made Boy Better Know a cultural institution — has locked down the Club Room at Hï Ibiza every Saturday night from May 2 through October 3.

Dark nightclub interior with dramatic lighting and crowd

His Más Tiempo residency isn't a novelty booking. The North London legend pivoted from rap to house music in the post-pandemic era and hasn't looked back. He guested across every major Ibiza party last summer, including Carl Cox's residency at UNVRS. Now he's got his own room, his own brand, his own night.

Why This Is a Cultural Moment

Here's what makes the Skepta Ibiza residency more than just another DJ announcement: Más Tiempo features an exclusively Black resident team. Jammer, DJammin, and the full Más Tiempo crew will hold it down alongside Skepta. On the same Saturday night, Black Coffee commands the Theatre next door with his own residency starting May 17.

"Más Tiempo is about freedom on the dancefloor," Skepta said. "Sharing the night with Black Coffee makes it even more powerful."

Two rooms. Two Black artists running the biggest night of the week at the number one club in the world. That's not a booking — that's a statement. ⚡

UNVRS Ibiza: The Hyperclub Has Entered the Chat

If you haven't heard about UNVRS yet, buckle up.

Built on the San Rafael site (RIP Privilege, gone but not forgotten), UNVRS is billing itself as the world's first "hyperclub" — a venue built from the ground up with immersive technology that makes every other club look like it's running PowerPoint presentations.

DJ booth with turntables and club lighting

The UNVRS Ibiza opening party drops April 26 with Black Coffee, CamelPhat, and more. But the weekly schedule is where it gets absurd:

  • Mondays: John Summit presents Experts Only (Jun–Jul), then Tiësto takes over (Aug)
  • Tuesdays: Anyma — because of course the metaverse DJ got the hyperclub
  • Wednesdays: Jamie Jones presents Paradise: Starship Eden
  • Thursdays: Fisher
  • Fridays: David Guetta presents Galactic Circus
  • Sundays: Carl Cox (Jun 21 – Oct 4)

Carl Cox on Sundays at a venue with "world-first hyperclub technology." That sentence alone is worth the flight.

The Night-by-Night Cheat Sheet (Save This)

Nightlife scene with stylish crowd at club entrance

Ibiza clubs 2026 are spread across so many venues that you basically need a spreadsheet. We made it simpler.

Night The Move Where
Monday David Guetta – F*** Me I'm Famous Ushuaïa
Tuesday Calvin Harris / Anyma Ushuaïa / UNVRS
Wednesday Tomorrowland: Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike Ushuaïa
Thursday Fisher UNVRS
Friday Calvin Harris Ushuaïa
Saturday Skepta (Más Tiempo) + Black Coffee Hï Ibiza
Sunday Swedish House Mafia / Carl Cox Ushuaïa / UNVRS

There is genuinely no bad night. That's the problem. Your liver is going to need a game plan. (More on that later.)

Calvin Harris Ibiza 2026: Twice the Calvin, Twice the Chaos

Can we talk about Calvin Harris doing Ushuaïa TWICE a week? Tuesdays AND Fridays. The man is basically a standing fixture at this point. His Friday residency runs May 29 through October 2, while Tuesdays cover July 7 through August 25.

Pool party with DJ and daytime crowd at resort

If you're in Ibiza for a week this summer and you don't see Calvin Harris, that's a choice you actively had to make. He's inescapable, like sunburn and overpriced water bottles.

Swedish House Mafia: The Sunday Sermon

Swedish House Mafia return to Ushuaïa for a Sunday residency running June 28 through September 13. After years of comeback tours, cancellations, and "are they or aren't they" drama, the trio is doing what they do best — showing up exactly when you need them to close out a weekend that started on Thursday.

Afro House: The Sound of 2026 (By the Numbers)

Energetic dancefloor with diverse crowd and warm club lighting

Here's a stat that'll make your jaw drop: Afro house grew 778% year-over-year on Splice, catapulting house music from the fifth most-downloaded genre to second in a single cycle.

This isn't a micro-trend. It's a tectonic shift.

And Ibiza heard it loud and clear. Black Coffee's Saturday Theatre residency at Hï Ibiza is the anchor, but Francis Mercier is all over the island — headlining the Ushuaïa opening party on April 26 and holding down Monday dates. MoBlack is in the mix too.

The Hï Ibiza 2026 lineup reads like a who's who of the Afro house explosion, and that's not an accident. The island follows the sound, and this year, the sound is coming from Lagos, Johannesburg, and Brooklyn basements.

Ibiza Opening Parties 2026: Your Entry Point

The Ibiza opening parties 2026 kick off on a stacked weekend:

Hï Ibiza Opening — Saturday, April 25: Skepta, East End Dubs, DJ Gigola, Indira Paganotto, Joseph Capriati, Ewan McVicar, The Martinez Brothers, VTSS, and more across three rooms. It's a marathon. It's meant to hurt.

Ushuaïa & UNVRS Opening — Sunday, April 26: Ushuaïa rolls out with Francis Mercier, HUGEL, Kaz James, and MoBlack. UNVRS counters with Black Coffee and CamelPhat.

Two days. Three venues. Roughly 47 reasons to call in sick on Monday.

The Practical Stuff (Because Somebody Has To)

When to Go

Opening weeks (late April–May): Fewer crowds, cheaper everything, better weather for actual humans. The lineups are stacked from day one — Skepta's Más Tiempo launches May 2, Tomorrowland Wednesdays start May 6. You miss nothing.

Peak season (July–August): Every residency is running. Calvin Harris is doing both nights. Swedish House Mafia is live. But prices double, clubs hit capacity, and you'll wait 45 minutes for a taxi that costs €40.

September: The sweet spot veterans swear by. Still warm, lineups still firing, but the amateur hour crowds have gone home.

What It Costs

Stylish friends arriving at an upscale nightclub

Let's keep it real. Ibiza isn't cheap, and 2026 isn't bringing prices down.

  • Club entry: €40–€80 for standard, €150+ for premium events
  • Drinks inside: €15–€20 for a cocktail (yes, really)
  • VIP tables: don't ask unless you're ready to hear a number that starts with a comma
  • Accommodation: budget €150–€300/night unless you're splitting a villa with 11 of your closest friends

Insider Moves

Book your Hï Ibiza Saturday tickets NOW. Black Coffee + Skepta on the same night? Those allocations will evaporate. Ticket prices only go up as tiers sell out.

Download the Hï Ibiza and UNVRS apps for real-time queue updates. Nobody looks cool standing in line for 90 minutes.

For UNVRS, go early in the season. It's a brand new venue and the kinks will get ironed out, but the hype of being there first is worth the trade-off.

Your Body Is Not Ready (But It Should Be)

Sunrise over beach with calm Mediterranean waters

Here's what nobody puts in the Ibiza guide: this island will absolutely wreck you if you show up without a plan.

We're talking 12-hour club sessions. Pool party at 2 PM, pre-drinks at 10, club until 6 AM, after-party until noon. Rinse. Repeat. For five to seven days straight.

The DJs have professional stamina. You have... optimism. Hydration, recovery, and knowing when to push versus when to pull back is the difference between "best trip of my life" and "I lost two days in a hotel room."

Your body is the venue. Treat it like one. 😎

Ibiza 2026 opening parties hit April 25–26. The season runs through October. Your move.
